Most people have heard of Google and how it can be a valuable tool for finding information. Google, however, is not the only search engine out there. There are also other popular search engines like Bing, Yahoo!, DuckDuckGo, and many more. The problem with these search engines is that they rank websites based on how "good" their content is. If a website has good content, then it will rank higher than a website with bad content. So what does this mean to you? It means if you want to rank for certain keywords in any of these search engines, then you need to make sure your content is good!
One of the most important things you can do to rank well in search engines is writing good content. This will ensure that users using search engines such as Google or Bing to find information about a topic actually land on your website instead of another one. For example, if someone is looking for information on how to get rid of bed bugs in their home, they can type that into a search engine such as Google, and it will give them a list of websites related to getting rid of bed bugs. If your website content about this topic is better than other websites' content, then you are more likely to be listed higher on that list.
One thing you may not have thought about before is that search engines like Google can also read the text from your images! That means even if you have an image with good quality text on it about something relevant, people who use Google or Bing might look at your image and see that instead of reading all the content on your website. This means that even if your site has bad content but has a relevant image with good text that describes what the page is about, you might rank higher than a website with great content.
That is why it is important to make sure your websites' content is as good as possible. If you want people to land on your website when using Google or Bing, you need to write high-quality content for them!
One of the best ways to check if your content is readable and understandable by other humans (and search engines!) would be to check it in "Word Count" under Quality Control. Does it contain 500-1,000 words? 1,000-2,000 words? 2,000-5,000 words? Does it exceed 5,000 words? If so, then your content might be overcomplicated or hard to understand for the average person. Remember that when you are writing website content, you want someone who has never been on your site before to understand what it is about.
Here are some good things to keep in mind if you want to write a top-quality article:
The more keywords you can include throughout your article without overwhelming the reader with keywords, the better off you will be! However, don't stuff out the page with keywords either. Put them in places where things make sense logically and grammatically, such as titles of paragraphs and sections.
Think about why Google makes its rankings. They have a list of factors that determine where your content ranks, and it contains a mix of both "on-page" and "off-page" factors. Keywords are already off-page, while meta descriptions, site structure, linking sources (blogs), backlinking strategies, and on-page optimization elements can all affect your on-page SEO ranking.
Make sure you optimize each page for the keywords you use if possible. Don't be afraid to include relevant links at the end of your article, but make sure they are designed clearly so that Google considers them as natural links instead of spam links.
