Mar-Tek Industries has surpassed the North American regional average in both Water Security and Climate Change, as assessed by CDP (formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project).

Established in 2000, CDP has been pivotal in urging companies to disclose their climate impact. Over the years, their scope has broadened to encompass environmental facets like deforestation and water security, aligning with a global initiative to understand and mitigate environmental risks.

In 2021, CDP embarked on a new strategy, extending its focus to cover all planetary boundaries. This initiative underscores the urgency of addressing pressing issues like biodiversity loss and oceanic health.

This achievement is important, given the critical role companies play in combating climate change and preserving natural resources. With approximately 70% of global emissions attributed to corporations, our actions are instrumental in shaping a sustainable future.

CDP's rigorous assessment process, which evaluated over 21,000 companies, recognized Mar-Tek for taking coordinated action on climate and water issues. More specifically, Mar-Tek received an A score for Emissions Reduction Initiatives and Low Carbon Products, Business Impacts and Governance.

Mar-Tek has on-site full prepress capabilities to quickly prepare artwork for your durable printed part production. Our experienced team works closely and personally with each customer, checking and preparing customer supplied electronic files to ensure they meet printing specifications, and verifying file formats and color modes. Additionally, our art department deftly manages color profiles to ensure they align with the printing process. Fonts are verified and embedded, resolving font-related issues to ensure text appears correctly in the final print.

We're excited to announce that Wide Format vinyl printing has come to Mar-Tek's Colorado Headquarters production team!

Our new eight color digital printer is now in place, which adds to our existing array of Quality Precision Graphics production capabilities.

Wide Format vinyl printing has the advantage of quick set ups and in-line precision cutting, so no tooling is required. Depending on the graphic and construction requirements, it can also produce a high-quality custom decal at a lower cost, especially on shorter production runs. It is also great for prototyping!
