People often ask me.
“What makes you happy?”
They expect me to say money.
Or success.
Or recognition.
But my answer is always the same:
Progress.
Not perfection.
Not applause.
Not overnight wins.
Just…
Progress.
Progress is waking up knowing I’m 1% better than yesterday.
Progress is failing, learning, adjusting, and still moving forward.
Progress is choosing discipline when comfort feels easier.
Progress is building when no one is watching.
There was a time when I measured happiness by results.
Now I measure it by growth.
Because results can be delayed.
Recognition can be denied.
Opportunities can disappear.
But progress?
Progress is always in your control.
The gym teaches it.
Business teaches it.
Life demands it.
It’s the quiet improvements.
The uncomfortable conversations.
The skills you sharpen in silence.
The habits you build when motivation fades.
That’s what fulfills me.
Not the destination.
But the evolution.
If you’re feeling stuck right now, remember this:
You don’t need a breakthrough.
You need momentum.
And momentum starts with progress.
What does happiness mean to you?
