๐ ๐ถ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ appeared during one of those late nights when we left the shop with 4 unfinished jobs and a headache... Things have mysteriously happened ever since we remodeled the shop that we are currently in, in Shoshone. We have had random nozzle check film and vinyl on the floor when we arrive, computers and equipment turned on and ready to go to work, and occasionally our cameras sense motion that isn't there....
Last night a DTF transfer came off the printer onto the floor. The embroidery machine was half way through a hat stitch out. A stack of garments waited for their designs, a blank leather slab sat by the laser engraver, and scraps from a dozen different jobs covered the tables. Somewhere in the middle of it all, the lights flickered.
In the morning, every job was finished.
The prints were clean. The stitching was perfect. A dozen leather patches looked sharp. Even a custom engraving test we recently created had a strange little X mark no one remembered putting there.
And in the corner stood Misprint: one huge eye, two pointed ears, and a body that looked like it had been assembled from leftover ink, thread, film, and shop trouble.
Nobody knows which machine made himโor whether he made the machines act up. Now he turns up wherever a job gets complicated. Heโll tangle thread, shift a transfer, hide a tool, or leave a mysterious mark on a blank. Then, somehow, the finished piece comes out better than expected.
Misprint is the shopโs production gremlin: part accident, part assistant, and absolutely no help explaining what happened. ๐
