Sometimes the path you didn't plan becomes the path that reveals your purpose.

Today, 39 Acts of Legacy celebrates LaToya Phillips, founder of MotherKrafted Boutique—a mother, creator, medical assistant, and entrepreneur who turned an unexpected season of life into something meaningful.

When LaToya became a stay-at-home mom to care for her children and support their therapy needs, she realized traditional work no longer fit the life her family needed.

So instead of giving up on her dreams, she leaned into her creativity, faith, and love for boutique shopping.

During her pregnancy, a powerful dream about her grandmother—her best friend—creating and selling handmade items inspired LaToya to build something of her own.

And she did.

Today, MotherKrafted Boutique reflects love, family, resilience, creativity, and legacy. Every thoughtfully crafted product carries a piece of the story behind the woman creating it.

But LaToya's impact doesn't stop with her business.

She continues serving others as a medical assistant at a cancer center while supporting her family, shopping local, uplifting fellow small businesses, and creating connections within her community.

Her story is a reminder that purpose doesn't always arrive in the form we expect.

Sometimes, you build it right in the middle of the life you're already living.

Today, we honor LaToya Phillips for turning motherhood into inspiration, creativity into opportunity, and an unexpected chapter into a legacy worth celebrating.

I’m looking for 7 business owners who are serious about Q4.

Not people who are waiting to see how the year plays out.

The ones who are already thinking about:
how to get more visible,
how to bring in more business,
what they need to promote,
and how they’re going to finish 2026 stronger than they started it.

I have 7 physical copies of my Q4 Growth Blueprint Workbook available for $47.

And I want those 7 people at the table with me.

We’re getting together locally to talk business, connect and get intentional about what the final quarter can look like.

Because there is still a LOT of year left.

If you care about what happens between now and December 31, come into the room.

7 copies. $47.

DM me Q4 and claim yours.

Sometimes a legacy begins with simply creating something you needed for yourself.

Today, 39 Acts of Legacy celebrates Akeeta Beasley, founder of Keeta Bee’s LLC and a Master Herbalist whose passion for natural wellness grew from caring for herself and her daughters.

What began as a personal journey into natural skincare became a business rooted in creativity, herbal knowledge, and a desire to help others care for their skin naturally.

Akeeta creates herbal-based skincare products for a wide range of skin types, including cleansers, toners, soaps, body oils, body butters, deodorants, and more.

But her work doesn't stop with skincare.

As a Master Herbalist, she also creates herbal teas and tinctures, reflecting her passion for holistic wellness and natural approaches to supporting the body.

Her story is one of turning knowledge, creativity, and lived experience into something she can share with others.

From products created for her own family to a growing wellness brand serving others, Akeeta is building a legacy rooted in natural care, entrepreneurship, and purpose.

Today, we honor Akeeta Beasley for following what started as a personal passion and transforming it into an opportunity to educate, create, and serve.

The biggest marketing mistake I see businesses make?

They wait for the quarter to tell them what they should have been preparing for.

I recently talked about this as a guest on a show—and one of the points I kept coming back to is this:

Q4 doesn’t suddenly appear.

You can see it coming.

The businesses positioned to finish the year strong are making decisions before the urgency hits: what they’re selling, who they need to reach, what they want to be known for, what visibility they need, and how their marketing will support revenue.

And I’m not saying that from theory.

Since January, I’ve been working with a client who intentionally reset their marketing strategy. The results are a great example of what can happen when strategy has time to work:

123% increase in Facebook views.
214% increase in content interactions.
122% increase in follows.

And that’s the distinction I want more business owners to understand:

You don't need to start over every quarter.
You need a strategy that compounds.

That’s also why I created the Q4 Growth Blueprint.

Whether you need to map the strategy yourself, want to build it with me in the workshop, or know you need support executing the strategy, there’s a path for where you are.

Because October is not the time to ask, “So…what are we doing for Q4?”

Start now. Let Q4 be the execution—not the emergency.

“Business self-care is knowing when you don’t need to carry it all yourself.”

As we head into National Self-Care Month in September, let’s remember that self-care for business owners isn’t only about rest.

Sometimes self-care looks like getting the expert support you need so you can stop spinning, stop second-guessing, and stop trying to figure everything out alone.

Your marketing deserves support, too.

You don’t have to be the CEO, strategist, content planner, systems builder, and marketing department all at once.

Sometimes the most strategic thing you can do for yourself — and your business — is bring in the right expertise.

I have TWO final Q4 Growth Blueprint Workshop bookings available in August for businesses and organizations that want a tailored strategy for their brand, team, goals, and Q4 priorities.

And if you need ongoing support turning that strategy into action, End-of-Year Marketing Ex*****on Support is available September–December.

Take care of the business by taking care of the person carrying it.

Your future self will thank you.

What does legacy look like when you build it brick by brick—and celebration by celebration?

Today, 39 Acts of Legacy celebrates Tiffany O’Neal Lee, owner of Royale’ Oasis Event Space and More and Southern Apex Solutions.

Tiffany is using entrepreneurship and property ownership to create something that serves people in more than one way.

Through Southern Apex Solutions, she provides rental homes that give individuals and families a place to call home while building her own path toward generational wealth through real estate.

Through Royale’ Oasis Event Space and More, she has created a welcoming space for families, businesses, organizations, and community members to gather, celebrate milestones, and create memories that matter.

And that's what makes her story compelling.

She's not simply building businesses.

She's building spaces—spaces to live, spaces to celebrate, spaces to connect, and spaces where people can create meaningful moments.

Her vision is to continue expanding her rental property portfolio while providing quality, well-maintained homes and growing Royale’ Oasis into a premier destination for unforgettable experiences and meaningful connection.

Today, we honor Tiffany O’Neal Lee for understanding that legacy isn't always built in one grand moment.

Sometimes, it's built one property, one gathering, one family, and one opportunity at a time.

What if your creativity isn't just something you enjoy—but something God gave you to use?

Today, 39 Acts of Legacy celebrates Brittany Miller, founder of Paint Out Loud Canvas and The Blueprint—a faith-driven entrepreneur and artist who is proving that you don't have to choose between your faith and your creativity.

Brittany is currently pursuing her business degree as a full-time college student while building her business—now in her second year of entrepreneurship.

And she's building it while navigating the obstacles life brings.

Instead of allowing those obstacles to define her, Brittany continues to hold onto the promises of God and keep moving forward.

Through her art and creative experiences, she brings people together, creates space for expression, and reminds others that their gifts have purpose.

Her message is powerful: being a Christian doesn't mean being boring.

Faith can be creative.
Faith can be expressive.
Faith can be joyful.
Faith can build something.

Brittany is using what God placed inside of her to inspire others, create meaningful experiences, and glorify Him through her work.

Today, we honor Brittany Miller for continuing to build, create, believe, and become—one brushstroke, one business decision, and one act of faith at a time.

Q4 IS NOT A SURPRISE.

It’s a deadline you can see coming.

The businesses that finish 2026 strong won’t be scrambling in October to figure out what to sell, what to say, what to promote, or how to turn attention into revenue.

They’re making those decisions now.

That’s why I created the Q4 Growth Blueprint—a strategic path to help you stop guessing and start executing with intention.

Choose your next move:

→ Blueprint Workbook — Map your Q4 strategy yourself.
→ Q4 Growth Blueprint Workshop — Get in the room and build the plan with me.
→ Marketing Ex*****on Support — Because a strategy sitting in a folder doesn’t generate revenue.

August: Plan.
September: Prepare.
Q4: Execute.

The window to prepare is open now.

If your goal is to finish 2026 stronger than you started it, this is the conversation to have before October.

I’ve been building a LOT lately, and I don’t think I’ve really talked about it all in one place.

Last year, I started pitching workshops. This year, I started doing the local outreach, having conversations, getting in rooms and figuring out what I wanted these workshops to become. That work eventually turned into the Q4 Growth Blueprint—and now I’m actually hosting it.

That full-circle moment has been really good for me.

Write For You Media is getting clearer too. I’m focused on two offers for the rest of the year: Q4 Growth Blueprint for the strategy, and September–December Marketing Ex*****on Support for the businesses that want help putting the strategy into motion.

Black Women in Business Northwest Louisiana has been growing at the same time. LookOutNWLA, the Visibility Circle, 39 Acts of Legacy, the Honors, new relationships, new opportunities and a lot happening behind the scenes.

And I’m doing all of this while raising four boys, homeschooling, making time for family, building, recovering and trying to be present for the life I’m building too.

It’s a lot. But it’s also really cool to look around and realize some of the things I was working on months ago are actually becoming real.

And I’m not finished yet.

If Q4 marketing is still something you need to figure out, I’ve got two ways to work with me: Q4 Growth Blueprint or September–December Marketing Ex*****on Support.

Message me and let’s talk.

What happens when creativity becomes more than a gift—it becomes a platform for purpose?

Today, 39 Acts of Legacy shines a light on Courtney C. Williams, founder of God's Vision Graphics and Photography, LLC and an emerging multimedia entrepreneur making her mark across Shreveport-Bossier.

Born and raised in Shreveport, Courtney—known as CoCo and CoCoWilly—is using her creativity across photography, filmmaking, podcasting, writing, music, business development, and digital media to tell stories, spotlight talent, and create opportunities in her community.

Her latest film project, “Proverbs 31: The Virtuous Woman,” explores faith, growth, purpose, identity, and the journey of women discovering their strength.

But Courtney's vision is bigger than any single project.

She is building a creative ecosystem where stories can be told, talent can be recognized, culture can be celebrated, and the next generation of creators and leaders can see what is possible.

That is what makes her work part of a legacy.

Creativity can entertain. Creativity can educate. And creativity can create doors.
