This collection brings together recent oil studies exploring portraiture, still life, and landscape. Each piece is an investigation of light, color relationships, and edge control, with an emphasis on capturing atmosphere and presence in a direct, painterly approach.
Working primarily from life, these studies reflect an ongoing commitment to classical realism while allowing for increasing freedom in brushwork and expression.
