We're a small creative marketing agency and commercial photography studio in downtown Siloam Springs! Our name is super hard to say, but when you understand the meaning it might become your new favorite word! The non-scientific way to pronounce it is FIRE-AH-BEND. Go ahead and say it over and over again a few times. You'll get it. ;) The best part of our name is what it means in German. Directly,

it translates as something like "sweet evening," but in Germany it's used at the end of the day, when you've worked hard and are going to either go home or to the bar and relax! We've taught a few of our downtown neighbors the meaning, and occasionally we'll hear it yelled down the street around 5:00. We love our community here in downtown Siloam Springs!

My theory is this - big agencies have so many moving parts that they excel at creating impersonal campaigns and soul-less designs that aren't working for most mid-sized businesses.

What does it mean to design for humans? Clear and intuitive navigation with easily-clickable buttons. Fonts that are easy to read with ample white space. Images and illustrations that help guide people. Not overdoing the pop-ups, especially on mobile. Consistent color palette and design elements that ensures accessibility for all. Sites that are easy to use on a phone. AND SO MUCH MORE! We are obsessive about creating the best user experience with every site we build.

It looks like illustrations are still gaining popularity, while photos increasingly reflect a modern and clean approach, highlighting individual ingredients and enlarged food over full bowls and extra garnishes. Because this beer benefits the Illinois River Watershed Partnership, we wanted to highlight the Illinois River Basin - which is the land that feeds into the Illinois. Creating this illustration was an educational endeavor of its own as we put into visual perspective this vast area.
