Sharing sensitive documents securely can be a pain, especially when your hands are tied from an IT perspective.
I wrote a technical breakdown of a project we did for a non-profit client last year, where we built a user-friendly but secure experience powered by a microservice that proxies a private S3 bucket.
What I love about the solution is that it's portable anywhere - no heavy integrations with a particular frontend framework, no plugins, and dead simple to maintain.
