Weekend color palette: Mt. Baker edition. The clouds finally broke on Saturday afternoon, and I got my first look at Mount Shuksan (center photo). Sunday brought the storm back, which meant refills all day, low visibility, and very wet gear. This was my second trip to Mt. Baker and the first time I’ve actually seen what’s been hiding behind the clouds. Safe to say it was worth the wait!

I started Magic Marketing in 2022, and this past weekend I kicked off my fourth year in business at Silverton Mountain’s 10th Annual Women’s Big Mountain Weekend. reached out in the fall looking for a logo that would capture the spirit of the event, and it was the perfect fit. Skiing, supporting women, and building community are some of my favorite things to be part of, so I was all in.

Starting Magic Marketing came with a lot of unknowns. Some were challenging, and others led to opportunities I never could have imagined, like heli skiing. The best part of the weekend was getting to share the experience with a client turned friend, .

Last week was full of connection and community, and it totally filled my cup! Working solo from home most days can feel a little isolating, but I’ve been lucky to find some truly amazing people to surround myself with.

On Wednesday, I got together with the other women in Summit County who work in marketing for the sweetest holiday dinner and gift exchange. Since we all work for ourselves, we decided to throw our own holiday party, and I think it is our new tradition. Then I had our Scream Agency team dinner, which was so fun and energizing. It’s always a treat to be with the rest of the team in person. And to wrap it all up, I helped out ButtnSki at the Birds of Prey races in Beaver Creek.

Feeling really lucky to be surrounded by such a supportive and inspiring crew.❤️

Big news! Over the last few months, I’ve been working as a fractional art director for Scream Agency, a values-driven creative agency based in Denver. It’s been such a rewarding opportunity to collaborate with their team and lead creative direction on some amazing projects.

This weekend I had the chance to attend Camp is in Your Heart and lead a workshop. There’s something so special about connecting with others in the setting of summer camp. Spent the weekend at Outside Festival with and it was such a blast. The beer can I designed got so much love that we knew we had to do something more with it. So… these shirts were born!

My theme for the year is create more than I consume and that’s exactly what inspired my seasonal bucket list.

Instead of endlessly scrolling and watching other people live their lives, I sat down and got intentional about what I want my life to look like this season. What do I actually want to do, feel, and experience?

So I made a list (and a fun little collage, of course 🎨) to map it all out. I printed it, stuck it on my fridge, and now it’s a daily reminder to say yes to the things that light me up.

This season’s theme? Sunkissed Summer. ☀️ More time outside and more sunshine on my skin.

Last night, Magic Marketing won the 2024 Small Business of the Year award at the Summit Chamber Business Excellence Awards! I’m so incredibly honored, especially with such amazing businesses in the running.
Being part of the Summit County community has been a dream, and this award feels like a giant hug back. I got to celebrate with some of the best people, and I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who has worked with me, cheered me on, or shared my name with their network.
