Announcement!

As our singer Celiaflor Torres plans on her maternity leave in November, we have cooked up a nice little recipe of nostalgia.

Rob B Vocalist of Power Syndicate has offered his services to US until Celia returns in March! First gig currently scheduled in November.

We will be adding some Rap, Hip Hop, Metal and other favorites that are not in heavy rotation in the current local cover band scene.

If you don't know, Ralski & Justin played with Rob before Covid, and they were the winners of the VCMA's (Ventura County Music Awards) for 3 years in a row from 2018-2020.

NDR CVR SPR GRP had their first audition with Rob B from Power Syndicate the other day. Here is some rough audio. We have a few other ideas in the works, but we are ready to share the news with you now.

If you don't know, Rob played with NDR CVR's drummer/founder Chris Ralski Amesquita (Ralski) and bassist Justin. Along with Gregg on guitar, they won the Ventura County Music Awards (VCMA's) 3 years in a row from 2018-2020 for Best Cover Band.

Rob is down to help US out while their singer Celiaflor takes her maternity leave. Rest assured that rap, hip hop and metal will be added to the mix, so Chris Stansbery will continue to share his extended musical vocabulary with US.

After a private event in Oxnard this Saturday to close out August, they will have just a couple more shows with Celia before this temporary transition. So make sure to catch her during one of the upcoming dates:

What if promotion wasn't just about promoting yourself?

Since 2022, we've been creating free physical magazines that spotlight local musicians, artists, venues, businesses, and creative people who make our community unique. Every magazine, swag bag, signed poster, sticker, button, and postcard we hand out at our gigs is meant to do one thing: connect people.

Social media posts disappear in a day. A printed magazine can sit on a coffee table, spark a conversation, and introduce someone to a local artist or venue they may have never discovered otherwise.

We've had a number of male and female singers reach out to US, so thank you for expressing interest!

We are not opposed to an "open-relationship", so there is no permanent committment. And we advertise it to males because it's a new concept, but we are not opposed to having females on the roster.

This is how it works:

1. We share our song list with you.

2. You share your song with US. Email: [email protected]
3. We figure out songs we can do together, and have an auditon.
4. If it feels right, we move forward.
5. We can create a calendar of availability to help with booking inquiries.
6. Book gigs and play!

No solid rehearsal schedule after having a few and knowing what works and what doesn't.

Auditions and rehearsals in Simi Valley. Days can vary with exception of no Tuesday nights.
