When it comes to marketing, creating your content and posting strategy is half the battle. The other battle is getting engagement. 📊
Here are 3 tips you can try right now to increase engagement on your social posts. ✨ I recommend doing these on a daily basis to create consistency (not just when you post)! Let's dig in. ⬇️
1️⃣ Follow people that are your target audience, or that are engaging with brands similar to yours. This works great for platforms where you can follow others or invite them to your page (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
2️⃣ Engage with others! Make sure you respond to comments and messages, but also, be proactive and engage with others by commenting on posts, liking and sharing! This is a great way to build community and show your support of others.
P.S., both of the tips above are great ways to pique others' interests. Think of when a big brand engages with your content or follows you back, how you feel! Or if you see a new brand that followed you, it gets your attention, so you naturally look into who they are, check out their posts, follow them, or even visit their website to learn more about their products or services.
3️⃣ Similar to number 2, look at hashtags that are relevant to your business, and engage with the content under these! Follow these hashtags, look at the posts and comment (or reshare, message the creator, etc.)!
These tips may seem "small", but they can have a big impact, especially if you are consistent with them. 🙌🏻 I recommend scheduling 15-20 mins on your calendar every day to do the above and build on this habit. 🗓
