Cash Cow Conversations is a pre-recorded podcast hosted by Kristine Reiner highlighting Cash Cow Co-op producers. On this episode Jamie Boley describes how Mayborn Acres came to be and why farming is his true calling.

Mayborn Acres can trace it's roots to when Jamie cut processed foods from his diet. The more real local food he ate, the better he felt and the more energy he had. As time went on others expressed interest in eating healthier food too, prompting Jamie to provide the same ethically raised, nutritious, and delicious pastured poultry to his community. Now he raises several batches a year and has made this his full time operation.

Mayborn Acres runs limited batches during the summer when they can run the chicks outside in chicken tractors. This not only provides the benefits of being outside, but also helps to build the soil health.
