We suffered a great loss this week in our barn family. GH Cromed Mercedes “Beau” was more than “just a horse”. He was a member of our family. We had visions and hopes of this horse galloping (ok, beautiful slow loping with the occasional zoomies) through our pastures in his golden years and enjoying full retirement. Instead, he was taken too soon, still in his prime. Beau touched so many people in his short 13 years. As we often do in this industry, we are always looking for our next partner or maybe something better. Everyone that had Beau loved him deeply, and I think regretted selling him. He was the bestest boy, not because he was the most athletic or the most talented in the show pen. He was the best because he had the kindest soul. He was the gentle giant of the barn, towering over the other horses but always thoughtful and taking up the least amount of space. We feel so fortunate to have been a part of this horses life. Thank you to Kyle Kellmer Performance Horses for bringing this gentle giant into our circle. Victoria Rivera, thank you for buying Beau when you weren’t even looking for a new horse and trusting us that this giant, western pleasure looking guy, would be the one. I am so so sorry for your loss. He will never be replaced and there is a Beau sized hole in our hearts. Only one stall is open but our barn has never felt so empty 💔 ❤️🩹
We miss you big guy
