Yesterday, Tuesday June 16, 2026 I had the pleasure of attending the FIN FIT “Fearless Fundraising for Your Small Business” event in Columbus, Georgia, hosted by the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office.

And yes — I drove through the rain both ways to get there. At one point, I thought I was attending a fundraising seminar and an advanced defensive driving course at the same time. But it was well worth the trip.

A special thank you to Reginald “Reggie” Thompson, Director of the Georgia Veterans Business Outreach Center at the Georgia VECTR Center, for the invitation and for continuing to be a strong resource for Georgia’s veteran business community.

I also want to give a big shoutout to Marguerite Pressley Davis of Finance Savvy CEO® — her presentation was outstanding. She broke down fundraising, investor readiness, and what business owners need to consider before saying “yes” to an investment deal in a practical, honest, and empowering way.

Events like this matter because access to capital, financial literacy, and the right relationships can make all the difference for small businesses working to grow, scale, and compete.

Great information, great networking, and a great reminder that sometimes you have to drive through a little rain to get to the next opportunity.

Yesterday, June 10, 2026 I had the opportunity to attend Building Your Cybersecurity Strategy hosted by Georgia Tech APEX Accelerator at Centergy One in Atlanta.

Great session led by cybersecurity expert Cassia Baker, with practical takeaways on cybersecurity readiness, risk reduction, compliance, and strengthening preparedness for government contracting. As a small business and government contractor, these conversations are not optional anymore — they are part of doing business the right way.

Big thank you to Jennifer White and the Georgia Tech APEX Accelerator team for putting together such a valuable and engaging event.

Cybersecurity may not always be exciting dinner-table conversation, but after today, I’m even more convinced that “I’ll get to it later” is not a cybersecurity strategy. 😄

Hello June — let’s build something meaningful.

As we step into a new month, Greg Palmer, Inc. is focused on momentum, relationships, and results.

June is a great reminder that growth does not happen by accident. It happens when we show up, follow through, make the call, send the proposal, attend the meeting, build the partnership, and keep moving forward — even when the calendar is full and the coffee is doing most of the heavy lifting.

At GPI, we remain committed to helping organizations strengthen their workforce through:

✅ Staffing and recruiting support
✅ Healthcare and professional talent solutions
✅ HR and administrative management
✅ Training and workforce development
✅ Government and commercial contracting support

We are especially excited about building new partnerships, supporting public-sector missions, and creating opportunities that connect talented people with meaningful work.

Here’s to a productive June — one filled with purpose, progress, and the right conversations at the right time.

Let’s go make it count.

Some music does more than play in the background — it makes you pause, reflect, and remember.

As we hear this powerful theme, we are reminded of the courage, sacrifice, and brotherhood of those who served, especially those who never made it home.

Memorial Day is not about celebration. It is about remembrance.

It is about the names we know, the stories we have heard, and the countless sacrifices made quietly by men and women who gave everything for this country.

To the fallen: we honor you.
To their families: we remember with you.
To every generation that wears the uniform: may we never take your service lightly.

Freedom has never been free.

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, a cookout, or the unofficial start of summer. It is a solemn reminder that the freedoms we enjoy were paid for by those who never made it home.

As a veteran-owned company, Greg Palmer, Inc. recognizes the weight of that sacrifice and the responsibility we all share to remember, honor, and carry forward their legacy.

To the fallen, we say thank you.

To their families, we offer our deepest respect.

And to our nation, may we never forget the cost of freedom.

Greg Palmer, Inc. is currently vetting potential training partners for upcoming opportunities in the public sector, federal contracting, workforce development, and professional services space.

We are interested in connecting with firms, consultants, and subject matter experts who provide services such as:

Leadership training

Professional development

Compliance training

HR and workforce training

Healthcare-related training

Cybersecurity awareness

Administrative training

Instructional design

Coaching and facilitation

Curriculum development

At this stage, we are looking to build relationships, learn about partner capabilities, and identify where there may be a strong fit for future collaboration.

No pressure, no 90-page proposal due tomorrow — at least not yet.

If your organization provides training services or related support, I would welcome the opportunity to connect. Please feel free to send a capability statement, website, or brief summary of your services to [email protected].

Looking forward to exploring ways we can collaborate.

Great morning at Coffee & Conversations, hosted by Cobb County Economic Development, in recognition of SBA National Small Business Week.

There is something powerful about being in a room full of business owners, resource partners, and community leaders who are all focused on growth, access, and moving small businesses forward.

I made some great contacts, learned about valuable local resources, and even ran into Steven A Dorsey — because apparently even at an early morning event, networking has a way of finding you before the coffee fully kicks in.

Events like this are a reminder that small business success is not built in isolation. It takes relationships, information, follow-through, and the right conversations at the right time.

Thank you to Cobb County Economic Development and all the featured partners for creating space for meaningful connection and practical support for local businesses.

Grateful. Inspired. Energized.

To everyone who joined us for the ICIC Annual Conference: Changemakers Take Action here in Atlanta—thank you.

For two days, we didn’t just talk about growth… we lived it.
We connected, collaborated, challenged ideas, and most importantly—took action.

From powerful keynote moments to real, unfiltered conversations around capital access, procurement, AI, and scaling—this was one of those experiences where you could feel the impact in the room.

And let’s be honest for a second…
Between the sessions, networking, and trying to be in five conversations at once—we all got our steps in.

But beyond the movement, here’s the real takeaway:

👉 Access matters—but preparation matters more.
👉 Relationships are still the real currency.
👉 And the right room can change the trajectory of your business—if you show up ready.

It was especially powerful to see so many leaders step up—sharing insights, opening doors, and pouring into others. That’s what makes this community different.

Atlanta was proud to host—and even more proud of the energy each of you brought into the space.

Now the real question is…
What are you going to do with what you gained?

Let’s keep building. Let’s stay connected. Let’s execute.
