Last week, we had one of those days that reminds us why we love what we do.
We had the privilege of welcoming an incredible group of international students from Friends Forever International to Blue Dolphin for a behind-the-scenes tour of our shop.
Our founder, Jay Meyer, and General Manager, Jay Dennett, walked the students through every step of our process. The students witnessed the behind-the-scenes action in each department before ending the tour in our screen print department, where the fun really began!
Each student stepped up to our old-school manual press and printed their own Friends Forever t-shirt by hand. It's a tradition that's become something of a rite of passage for Friends Forever alumni. These shirts aren't just souvenirs, they are badges of honor that connect past and present participants, many of whom return to mentor future generations of students.
We're grateful to play a small part in such an inspiring program and to support an organization that's building lifelong friendships across cultures.
