Trying Filipino street food in NJ 🇵🇭

(Hosted) I have been following for over a year, hoping one day I’d catch them near me and I finally found them at the international food fair this past Sunday! And let me just say, it was well worth the wait!

They had the longest line in the fair, so you know it’a THAT GOOD. My only regret? Not getting 20 sticks of isaw 🤤 if you’ve been missing the taste of street food back home, or just curious to try authentic pinoy food, be on the lookout for their next pop up this summer, and support Filipino owned business!

The hunt for the best dim sum in NJ begins! 🥟

One of my favorite brunch items is not avo toast… it’s Sunday dim sum! There is something about the craziness of the place, ladies screaming at you to try their dim sum, trying to flag down the waiters for water but can never get ahold of them. The chili oil, the vinegar, dim sum served to you so piping hot the steam burns your mouth. It’s a vibe. Tried Golden Seafood in Edison and it definitely delivered, but some dim sum was def missing in textures and flavors. The hunt continues!

Giant bowl of pho and other Vietnamese dishes at

We drove an hour to my old stomping grounds Jersey City to try their pho and it did not disappoint! The portions were HUGE, one bowl could’ve been good for two and the fish for three (although I ate it by myself) if you love Vietnamese cuisine definitely check out this hole in the wall right in downtown, jersey city!

🇵🇭Let me put you on to the most raved about Filipino restaurant in Central Jersey! (And for good reason!)

You guys tag me to go to every time I post about Filipino food. As you should. This is the best Filipino food you could get in central Jersey - hands down! And I don’t say that lightly. It is turo turo cafeteria style so you could point at the dishes you want and be on your way. Every dish is PACKED with flavor. You can’t get any better than this! I’ve been going to Habit Burger & Grill located in Bound Brook NJ for their Family Charbox and it’s ALWAYS a win!
