This week, Sierra Focus Media was in Yosemite National Park for the Yosemite Gateway Partners Spring Quarterly Meeting, and it’s one of the clearest examples of how this region gets smarter, faster, and more aligned. Being in these rooms is what allows us to translate regional insight into real strategy for our clients.
You’ve got Yosemite National Park leadership, hospitality operators, small businesses, local governments, and regional partners all in one place. Not siloed. Not guessing. Actually sharing information in real time.
That matters. Because nothing out here happens in a vacuum. Visitor patterns, park policy, staffing, infrastructure, fire, water, housing, workforce, all of it is connected. And if we want to be more nimble and more strategic as a region, this is what it looks like.
For us, this ties directly into the work we’re leading across the Sierra.
Through California Jobs First, we’re coordinating the Recreation & Tourism industry across multiple counties. Through Sierra Works, we’re bringing stakeholders together to stress test ideas and build real implementation strategies. Through Sierra Sourced, we’re working to strengthen the connection between local producers and the visitor economy.
Different lanes, same goal: a stronger, more coordinated regional economy.
Yosemite Gateway Partners is a big part of that ecosystem, and their quarterly meetings are one of the few places where all of these threads come together.
If you want to understand where things are going, or better yet, be part of shaping it, get plugged in.
Their newsletter is one of the easiest ways to stay connected. Updates from the park, regional priorities, partnership opportunities, all in one place. https://www.yosemitegatewaypartners.org/
We’re excited to be in these rooms and even more excited about what comes next.
