Leesville Gap Road Race cancelled for the final time.

With only 31 riders 3 hours before deadline, and only half of last year's cancelled race, the Leesville Gap race of 2026 is cancelled. It won't be back again. Sorry. I hope we do better with Wards Ferry, Regalado, Copper Valley and Watsonville in the next two months. Our CalCup races in August and September will be taking place as scheduled. (With the possible exception of University RR).

Velo Promo is continuing its full scale operation of road bicycle races in Northern California through the rest of the 2026 season. While we will still put on a few races in 2027, most of our events will either be picked up by local clubs or will disappear. We'd like to go out on a positive note, without outstanding bills, while doing the best we can for the NorCal racing public. If you have valued the events and programs we have provided over 54 years, please donate what you, your club or your company can. And thanks for your past support!
