Our Story
My passion for monogramming can be traced back to birth and credited to my mother, almost every little dress I wore had my name or initials on the front! As I grew older and started looking for my first job, wouldn’t you know, her favorite monogram shop was hiring. At 16 years old I started monogramming and it was all I ever wanted to do!
Before I purchased a machine of my own, I went into business with my mentor in 2012, running The Initial Shoppe together as an internet business. After a trying time in my personal life, I decided to take a break from the business to focus on my family. We eventually parted ways as business partners in 2017 but still remain very close friends! In fact, she helped connect me with someone selling the machine I wanted. I was blessed with not only the opportunity to purchase my very own machine but we closed on our house the very next month! The most exciting part of our new home for me you ask? It had a space for my shop!! Short lived excitement as the following month Hurricane Harvey hit flooding my shop and our home. Restoring our house has taken priority over the shop but that hasn’t stopped me, I have temporarily set up shop in our dinning room and have been a busy bee ever since.
This is something I truly enjoy doing and I’m blessed to have the opportunity to carry on the tradition for other friends and family members like my mother did for me.
