AI writes what everyone else has already said. That's why it doesn't convert."
I sat in a packed room in London listening to an AI expert break down the future of marketing.
And one line stuck with me:
"Stop letting AI write your copy."
Not because AI is bad. Because generic prompts create generic marketing.
AI is trained on patterns, averages, and what's already been said a thousand times.
So when you ask it to "write a caption about marketing"… It gives you what everyone else has already posted. Generic. Forgettable. Unconvertable.
Your audience can feel AI within the first three lines. And they scroll past it instantly.
Here's how I use AI instead:
✅ Research ✅ Automation ✅ Variations ✅ Systems ✅ Processes
But I always feed it:
• My actual ideas
• My customer's real language
• My stories
• My opinions
• My data
• My voice
AI is a tool. You have to train it with your voice and your strategy.
The future of marketing isn't less human because of AI.
Being unmistakably human is what makes people stop scrolling.
When your content sounds like you, your perspective, your edge, your lived experience... that's when it converts.
That's when people remember you. That's when they choose you.
The Future of Marketing is Human Safety. And human voice is the safest signal there is.
