Greenfield Iowa - We've been called in to assist in performing post event inspections. The images are devastating. The EF4 tornado took out 8 Wind turbines on the nearby wind farm before its route went directly through the town of Greenfield. So many homes destroyed, lives turned upside-down, and worst of all at least 5 people lost their lives during this event.

The ‘Foshay Tower’.
Completed months before the 1929 stock market collapse. At 447ft it was the tallest in the Midwest for 48 years. It was modeled off of the Washington monument. Since 2008 it has been operating as the W Hotel. Fun fact - there’s an observation deck on the 30th floor that was converted from the former boardroom.
