If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, the Essex Craft Fair, in Essex Junction, Vermont at the Champlain Valley Expo, started today. Hours are 10 to 5 on Friday and Saturday, and 10 to 4 on Sunday. If you come by, be sure to stop by and say hello.

Sew Colorful will be at this weekend’s craft show at the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Junction, VT. Since Castleberry Fairs & Festivals took over this show, it is back to the way it used to be with great venders that take pride in handcrafting their creations. If you missed out on last weekend’s Stowe Craft Show that was cancelled due to the collapse of the main tent, come to this show. Sew Colorful is fully stocked with 70+ Jelly Roll Rugs, 18+ styles of Tote Bags, 20+ styles of quilted Placemats, a variety of Table Runners, and lots of our new Catnaps and Rope Baskets. Good morning! For anyone planning on attending the Stowe Craft fair it has been cancelled!! About an hour ago the wind whipped up and took the big tent down right on top of everything inside it. All of us crafters are very happy no one was hurt.

I will be at the Fairgrounds next weekend!

And 'sew" the season begins! Please visit Sew Colorful at the 2024 Stowe Foliage Arts Festival coming up October 11th-13th. This will be our first show of the season and we are "bursting at the seams" with inventory. We have a great selection of quilted placemats and hot runners, a gigantic selection of bowl coozies, 80+ jelly roll rugs, and a fantastic variety of tote bags. We are excited to introduce two new products:
Catnaps: Cat beds made of 100% cotton jelly roll fabrics in fun patterns and explosive colors.
Rope Baskets: Sold in sets of three (small, medium, and large). Our rope baskets are made from 100% cotton solid braid 5/16 rope with added fabric accents.
These items will soon be added to our website. We will be discontinuing the sale and production of aprons. All current apron inventory is deeply discounted and sold online only.

From September through December, you can visit with me at Arts & Crafts Fairs in Vermont and throughout New England.  I will post details of each craft fair once my attendance is confirmed.
