Congratulations to the South Houston seniors who earned this year’s PISD Vanguard Community Service Award Luis Cervantes, Monse Chajon, Alexis Beltran, Almanda Garrido and Yessenia Ramirez. The annual award is given to the top five students at each of the district’s five high schools who share a commitment to dedication to their school, family and community through a minimum of 300 community service hours separate and apart from school requirements. Honorees are selected by their campus administration.
