Established in 1986, Whistle Stop Press has grown steadily over the years. In 2009, Tim King bought the company from The Pilot, expanding capacitites and services. Today, our Pre-Press department consists of several Graphic Designers and Lithographers working with you on layout and designs. A variety of presses in the press department run any job, large or small, specified to your needs. Our integ

rated mailing department, Carolina Mailing Solutions, enables us to offer you various mailing services, targeting even the smallest market. Ad Specialties & Moore offers a variety of promotional products. We are a member of PICA, the Printing Industry of the Carolinas, Inc., and have received various awards for excellence in printing over the years.

Whistle Stop Press in Southern Pines seeks a creative, highly motivated Graphic Design Associate for a Full time Postion.
This position will support the Graphic Design Manager in the coordination, design and production of marketing and communications materials.

Responsibilities and Requirements
• Design and produce print, digital and video materials for customer of Whistle Stop Press.
• Strong knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail, typography and pixel perfection
• Ability to take initiative, problem-solve and effectively communicate with a positive attitude
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple projects and responsibilities
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in office environment
• Must have reliable transportation
