If you’ve spent any time in downtown Southport, chances are you’ve walked right past this local favorite sitting under the water tower.

Dry Street Pub & Pizza has been serving Southport since 1996 and is known for its thin-crust pizza, fresh salads, made-to-order subs, homemade soups, and weekly specials. It’s one of those places locals keep coming back to for both lunch and dinner.

Some places just feel good for the soul, and the coast has always been that place for me.

The sound of the waves, the seashells, the salt air. Little moments like this make me endlessly grateful to call Coastal North Carolina home.

I’d choose this over a big city every single time.

Life in Southport, North Carolina just feels lighter.
Slower mornings and time to actually enjoy where you are.

T minus 9 days until one of my favorite weekends in Southport! When the sidewalks turn into studios… 🎨

From May 7–9, artists will be painting live around town for the Southport Plein Air Festival. Everything happens in real time. Changing light, moving scenes, and so much talent.

It’s one of those weeks where you can wander downtown, watch paintings come to life, and actually meet the artists behind them.

Don’t miss:
The Wet Paint Sale on Saturday at 4pm 🏷️
📍Franklin Square Park

Where you’ll spot artists:
Along the docks + marsh walk
Southport waterfront + pier
The yacht basin
Howe Street (especially near Franklin Square Park)
Tucked around historic homes

If you’re walking downtown that week, keep an eye out… you’ll probably run into a few artists 🎨
