Imaging Specialists is very proud to have helped Sally Hartzog Walters with her book, Memories (pictured, center), available at the Museum of Ashe County History's gift shop.
In the book, Mrs. Walters recalls family histories, stories of growing up in Ashe County, NC, life in a dairy farming family, as well as stories of her father’s logging business and her mother’s work at home. After the death of her father, the family continued to operate their farm. The stories continue, covering Sally’s college experience, her marriage, and her life after the loss of her own husband.

With the new year upon us, the staff at the Museum of Ashe County History is busy restocking our gift shop with both new items and familiar favorites!📚
Some of our newest items are our self-guided community tour booklets. These guidebooks include a brief description of some of our communities' unique historic structures, photos, and a map. The booklets are $2 apiece, or $8 for a set of five. Communities included in the set are Jefferson, Creston, Lansing, Grassy Creek, and Todd.
We also carry items such as mugs, post cards, locally made wood carvings, and a wide selection of local and regional history books.
The gift shop is open during regular museum hours, Monday - Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the museum and its mission to preserve local history!
