It’s All in the Details. 📸

Sometimes the best photos aren’t the ones that show the entire room. They’re the ones that make you stop and appreciate the little things.

The movement in a natural stone countertop, the texture of a backsplash, the contrast of a beautiful faucet, and the way natural light brings it all together.

Every detail was chosen for a reason, and every detail deserves to be captured.

PART 2 | SERAFINA QUARTZ 📸

Part 2 of this kitchen photo shoot is all about the addition of Serafina Quartz by East Coast Granite—and it completely changes the look of the space.

The soft movement and warm tones throughout the quartz pair beautifully with the Shaker Navy cabinetry by Cabinet Connect, while the bronze hardware adds just the right amount of warmth and contrast against the deep navy finish.

One of my favorite parts of photographing renovation projects is being able to capture the transformation in stages. Every visit gives the kitchen a different look, new details to focus on, and another piece of the finished design to document.

For this shoot, I wanted the photography to highlight both the overall kitchen and the smaller details—the movement in the Serafina Quartz, the navy cabinetry, bronze hardware, and how all of those finishes work together.

And this one still isn’t finished.

Part 3 is coming soon, when the Serafina Quartz continues up the walls with a full-height backsplash. I’m looking forward to getting back behind the camera and capturing the finished space.

I actually took these photos before the Fourth of July just for some practice—photographing everyday things I found around a loved one’s house and they love snoopy and loves Jim shores snoopy so snoopy made in the cut for practice. 🇺🇸📸

Somewhere between hundreds of other photos, projects, and shoots, these ended up falling through the cracks and never got posted.

I came back across them recently and realized I really love how they turned out. The colors, the details, and especially the character in these little Fourth of July Snoopy Jim Shore figurines made them way too good to keep sitting in my camera roll.

So Snoopy finally gets his day. 🐾🇺🇸

Sometimes some of my favorite photos come from simply picking up the camera and practicing with whatever is around me.
