Flashback to 2008. When Camp Greystone trusted us to reimagine their print materials, it wasn’t just a job - it was personal.⁠

Our founder, Sims, spent 10 summers at Greystone. She knew the challenge wasn’t just to show the facilities, but to translate the deep sense of belonging and meaningful connection found there. We were tasked with bottling magic. ✨⁠

We wanted to translate the feeling of a summer spent in the “bubble” into something you could hold in your hands.⁠

At the time, Sims’ daughter, Elodie, wasn’t even born yet. Fast forward to today, and she is now a proud “Greystone Girl” herself. ⁠

Looking back at these pages - focused on values like Grow, Achieve, and Connect - it’s beautiful to see the story come full circle. We are so grateful to the Miller family for trusting us to capture the spirit of this community.⁠

We’ve spent 20 years building brands. Now, we’re building a home for the women leading them. 🚀

At Launch Something, we don’t just build websites or marketing campaigns — we build cultures of belonging.

From connecting global franchisees and teams at Denny’s, to helping local businesses develop cult-like followings with their customers, to launching "The Power Grid" for Power Up Spartanburg this fall — we’ve seen the proof over and over again:

The brands that truly endure are the ones that facilitate meaningful connection.

It is a strategy we believe in so deeply that we are officially adopting it for ourselves.

Introducing Lift Off.

Lift Off is our new, dedicated community for female business builders — specifically those making the brave leap from corporate structures to entrepreneurial freedom.

It is the culmination of everything we’ve learned about community design — powered by the Mighty Networks framework our founder has mastered over the last five years.

What does this mean for the agency? It means we are leveling up. Launch Something is busier than ever, continuing to serve our clients with high-level strategy and design. But now, we are practicing what we preach: putting community at the center of everything we build.

A huge shoutout to our incredible team who have been working behind the scenes to bring this vision and dream to life.

Yesterday’s launch was more than a ribbon cutting - it marked a new chapter for film and television in the Carolinas.⁠

Salt Run Entertainment, co-led by York native and acclaimed producer/director Charles Randolph-Wright and Spartanburg native and investor John Gramling, III, officially launched its fully integrated production studio with a 25,000-square-foot residency at Spartanburg Community College’s Spark Center.⁠

The studio is committed to telling bold stories and building a pipeline for authentic voices - while also fueling workforce development through partnerships with Spartanburg Community College and the Urban League of the Upstate. Together, they’re expanding training, access, and opportunity in an industry poised for growth right here in South Carolina.⁠

Throwback to a project that still means so much to us.

In 2012, we partnered with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties on a full brand refresh - logo, website, brochures, and more.

Their mission says it best: to heal and give voice to abused children through assessment, treatment, education, and community partnerships.

This wasn’t just design work. It was the opportunity to help shape the identity of a place where hope and healing begin.
