💻 I started my business because I love being creative and I’m obsessed with marketing – plus, I wanted a job where every day would be different.

What EVERY biz owner needs to understand about going viral 😳

I always disclose with my new clients to not expect me to make them go viral! And this is why ⬆️

Because as your SMM, I am always analyzing your content for an return on YOUR investment. A lot of views is awesome. But where are you making money from that? 🤔 that’s why community building is where it is at! 👯‍♀️

The BIGGEST mistake I see business owners make on social… ❌🤫🫣

Thinking they “need to” post on social media so frequently that they burn themselves out and end up not utilizing it at all because it “doesn’t work”.

➡️ For so many of you, I hear social media is your LOWEST business task priority — and I totally get it! At the end of a long day, it’s probably the absolute last thing you want to do.

Because if you’re going in blind trying to DIY your social media, you probably…
😴Don’t know WHAT to create
😴Don’t have a “recipe”
😴Don’t have the time
😴And just don’t want to deal with it

But if I could give you any advice from a social media managers POV, I’d say this: if you want to do your own social media, start smaller than you think. Shoot for 2x a week, and build from there. Be intentional. Have fun with it 🥰😎

Since this is MY safe space too…you can take it from someone who (very, very ironically) is currently struggling to find the time to post on her biz account as much as she wants to 🫠🫣

How many of you feel this in your SOUL?! 😫

Like you can be a little “too much” for the world sometimes…

😏 Maybe you are a little “too” bold.
😍 A little “too” colorful.
🫣 A little “too” cautious.

Or (in my husband’s case) he is SO tenacious that he’ll stay up past midnight trying to fix something just because he can’t ever leave a project unfinished 😂🛠️🪚🪛

Me — I know that my empathy and sensitivity are my superpowers ✨🦋 I feel everything deeply. I have a hard time not absorbing the feelings of others. Don’t even try to make me watch a violent movie, I can’t do it. And I cry at everyyyyything. 😭😭

Maybe you have a quality like this too, that you have felt ashamed of or thought you needed to change. But let me promise you, it has given you gifts that others around you (and your clients) value greatly. And those gifts set you apart from everyone else. 🦄💙✨

We can’t be high-vibe, high-energy super ladies all the time 🦸🏻‍♀️

I know when I get to the point feeling like a fish flopping around in the sand, gasping for a SINGLE OUNCE of brainpower, it’s time to take a union break 😵‍💫💜🫠

🪫What do you do to recharge on low-battery days? I personally like to have an ice cream sandwich, journal (and use some of these affirmations), watch a feel-good episode of TV (I’ve been rewatching old episodes of Q***r Eye), or take a walk around my block.
