Beyond the Pines Beyond the Pines (BtP) is a student-run public relations agency based out of Whitworth University. We will follow up with you as soon as possible.

We are a student-run strategic communication agency at Whitworth University. We take on clients, at no cost to them, in fall and spring semesters from our local community in the non-profit sector and from the Whitworth campus, and we perform a wide variety of projects on their behalf. In the past, this work has included everything from brochure design, to writing website content, to preforming mar

keting research, to composing social media plans, to designing social media posts, to planning events, to writing press releases and much more. Introducing BTP alumni Sarah Dahl

1) When were you apart of beyond the pines/ when you graduated?

I was a part of beyond the pines from fall 2022-spring 2024 and graduated in fall 2024

2) What are you upto these days?

I am now the Development Coordinator at a Christian non-profit called Peak 7 Adventures which takes youth on outdoor adventures. I get to help with the donor relations and fundraising initiatives of this awesome organization.

3) How did BTP help you with finding a job/ life after college?

BtP helped me to understand the importance of building connections in my community. It was so beneficial when I started looking for a job to have worked with several amazing non profits in the area through my time with BtP.

4)Any advice for prospect BTP students?

My advice for new members is to go meet your community partners and hear about the mission of their work as much as possible! These people are doing incredible work and it’s so much easier (and more fun) to put time and effort into a project you are connected to and understand the impact of.

One of our clients this semester is Read With Me, Arusha.

Read With Me, Arusha is a non-profit organization that helps children in Arusha, Tanzania develop literacy skills. The organization’s goal is to encourage children to do well in school and continue their education.
