There’s nothing wrong with being an influencer! Thats not what I’m saying here. It’s just that not EVERYONE who is posting on social media wants to be one 🤷‍♀️. And that is 1 MILLION percent okay!
There is still room for you!!!

If you’re trying to show up for your business on social media, looking to stay top of mind, build brand recognition, and show your audience who you are and what you do, then the strategy is actually quite simple.
1. Decide who it is you’re talking to - the vibe of your brand should match the tone of your communication. Know your audience!
2. Figure out what it is that you and your business actually bring to the table. If you can’t easily explain what you do…getting someone to buy in to your business is nearly impossible.
3. Be true to yourself and your brand. Authenticity in a world of AI and abundant paid ads is a rare commodity. Trade on that authenticity to build genuine relationships with the people who could benefit from your business. Trust me, people can tell when you’re not being genuine.

That’s really it! There is no “perfect time to post” or “secret hooks that will win the internet”. It’s more simple than that. People are BEGGING for real connections right now, and showing up honestly as yourself and believing in what you do will take you farther than any go-viral-quick schemes.

I invite you to show up today, in whatever way feels right for you. Then do it again 😘

The anti-highlight reel, if you will 💁‍♀️

It can be really easy to look at someone else’s page and think…wow…they’re doing SO MUCH BETTER than I am! And maybe they are, maybe they aren’t ! 🤷‍♀️
But one thing we know for sure is that social media NEVER tells the whole story.

Our business is not some giant company, we’re just two people, navigating real life, and trying to find meaningful ways to show up for our people when and where we can. Life right now looks a bit crazy! And we can keep apologizing for not posting more, or we can be upfront with the reality of what’s going on and hope that you can find a little grace for us despite our lack of content.

We hope this helps even one person feel a little less alone in their struggles, we hope you know there’s room for success even when everything isn’t a win, and we hope you know that we are ALWAYS rooting you on through the highs and the lows.

Who’s struggling to put reels together today 🙋‍♀️?

Based on a recent study (that we may or may not have entirely made up right now on the spot), business owners who have to spend their time making reels on top of all their other business tasks are 1,000,000% more burnt out than those who find good professional help.

And over here, we believe in science 🤷‍♀️. Trust us when we say that if you dread creating content for your page, outsourcing it to someone who’s dedicated to becoming an extension of your brand will be the biggest relief you could imagine!

Profile audit day 2!
Let’s talk about your name. If your name on Instagram is something like “Susie Lou”, but you’re a Realtor who actually goes by Susan, chances are the people looking for you are NEVER going to find you. Your name should be searchable AND SEO friendly.

For example:
Photographers: Name, Location, type of photography you do
Realtors: Name, Location, Realtor (or real estate, depending on your market preferences)
UGC Creators: Name, type of content you create

Think of it this way - if you met someone on the street, and told them to follow you on Instagram, what would they be searching to find you? THAT should be your name!
