Spokane Art Awards
And the phrase of the evening was: Creative Ecosystem!
10/10 for branding the event. 10/10 for the attendees’ outfits! But more than anything THANK YOU Spokane Arts and Hamilton Studio for putting on such a beautiful evening!
Living as a creative in Spokane is honestly extremely difficult. It’s easy to feel like your passions and skills you’ve honed for years don’t make an impact, financially or emotionally. But receiving a nomination for this year’s Collaboration category has pistol-whipped new momentum into my artsy-fartsy circle! I was able to tell so many people about Spark Central’s upcoming fundraiser, and to meet and continent with artists and supporters that keep Spokane’s creative scene alive.
If you’re still reading this, PLEASE take some time today to support a living creative in your life! Tip your band! Shop at a local gift shop! Buy your niece those colored pencils she’s wanted! Everyone has creative potential, and it’s our duty as a community to foster that and pay it forward.
