I got to be one of Brionna’s first facial clients and honestly, this is exactly why I love doing Tricia Tries It. 💜

She is a newly licensed esthetician right here in Brooksville and she is at the very beginning of building her clientele.

And I think that is actually one of the coolest times to find someone.

Her education is fresh. She is excited. She is taking her time. She wants to learn your skin and build relationships with her clients from the beginning.

I went in completely bare faced and let her do her thing, and this video takes you through the whole experience.

If you have never had a facial before and feel like you have no idea what you are doing with skincare, Brionna might actually be the perfect person to start with because she is building right alongside you. 🤍

Okay this one was FUN 😂🦄

The Unicorn Emporium 2 gave me one of their mystery boxes to open and I genuinely had NO idea what was coming out of this thing next.

Candle roses.
Koozies.
Socks.
Soaps.
Lotions.
Tea.
Car coasters.
A reusable bag.
And apparently a wine bottle gift bag that I was fully convinced was some kind of weird sock for way too long 😂

They’re a small mom and pop shop clearing out some random inventory, so they turned it into these $29 mystery boxes and SHIPPING IS INCLUDED anywhere in the US. 🙌

And I actually really love this idea because you truly don’t know what you’re getting. It’s just a box of random fun stuff showing up at your door.

If you love surprises, random goodies, or just want to support a small business while letting someone else pick what you get... this is a fun one. 🦄💜

And please enjoy me trying to figure out the “sock.” 😂

I got to check out the Brides N Blooms flower bar at a recent event and this was such a fun little experience. Pick your flowers, build your bouquet, and leave with something pretty you made yourself.

Andddd apparently this is only the beginning because she has a mobile flower bar, teaches floral classes, and she may be sending me a mystery box to create with next. 👀

So stay tuned because I have absolutely no idea what’s coming, but I already know I’m gonna have fun with it. 😂💜

🏥 Tricia Tries It: Care One Direct Health

Today was a BIG win for my family.

After struggling for way too long without a primary care doctor we could actually turn to, we officially joined Care One Direct Health — a direct primary care office that opened TODAY in Brooksville… and somehow I got to be their very first patient. 🥹

Healthcare and insurance in America can feel like an absolute crisis, and finding affordable, accessible care for an entire family has been HARD.

This is different.

We pay a simple monthly membership fee for primary care, with longer appointments, direct access to our provider and transparent pricing — without them billing insurance for the membership services. And for our family, that monthly cost is incredibly affordable compared to what we've been dealing with. ($239 in case you wondered)

And Sarah? AMAZING. 💜 I walked out genuinely feeling like we finally have someone we can call when something is wrong instead of wondering, “Where the hell are we supposed to go?”

If you're in Brooksville, Spring Hill or Hernando County and you've been struggling with primary care too, this is absolutely worth knowing about.

Let’s talk NAIL RETENTION because these are my real nails… and my last set lasted over 4 weeks and still looked SO good. 👏

Onyx at Daydream Day Spa does incredible nail art, but what impresses me just as much is how well they actually LAST. And obviously I went bright this time because… have you met me? 😂🧡🩵

The salon is absolutely beautiful, too. If you’re in Brooksville, Spring Hill or Hernando County and looking for a nail tech who can do fun art AND give you great retention, go check her out.

🍦 Have you heard about the changes happening at The Artisan Haven!?

They have new owners and the The Ice Cream Barr at Artisan Haven has officially moved inside the coffee shop at Artisan Haven in Brooksville! ☕🍨

We happened to visit during a cosplay event 😂 and of course I had to show you guys the new setup!

If you’re looking for fun things to do in Brooksville, local dessert spots, coffee shops, or hidden gems around Hernando County, this is another one to put on your list. And while you’re there, you can wander Artisan Haven and check out all the other local vendors too! 💜

🥐 TRICIA TRIES IT: Delish Bistro — BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA

I saw that a brand-new restaurant had opened in Brooksville this week, so naturally I had to go investigate. 😂

Delish Bistro is a little off the beaten path, but I was SO pleasantly surprised!

I skipped my usual pancakes and tried their croissant breakfast sandwich. Both their bacon and sausage are turkey, which is a nice healthier option, and I honestly couldn’t really tell a difference in flavor.

✅ Great food
✅ Amazing service
✅ Really nice atmosphere
✅ Breakfast served ALL DAY 🙌
✅ And my entire breakfast was only $10!

They also have a surprisingly big menu with burgers, chicken tenders, fries, pasta, rice dishes and more. The woman sitting next to me was absolutely raving about the chicken and fries, so now I already know I need to go back. 😂

If you’re looking for a new restaurant in Brooksville, Florida, a breakfast or brunch spot in Hernando County, or somewhere new to eat around Spring Hill/Brooksville and the Tampa Bay area, definitely put Delish Bistro on your list.

🎨🐾 Tricia Tries It: Arts N Tails!

Hayley and I went to a class this morning and this one was SO freaking cool.

We got to paint our Bolt as a watercolor pet portrait — but instead of stressing over making him look perfectly realistic, we got to use bright colors, splatters and our own style to create him. And honestly? I LOVE how he turned out. 🥹💜

It was such a fun mom-and-daughter activity, and I love that we came home with something that actually means something to us.

If you’re looking for creative things to do in Brooksville, Spring Hill, Hernando County or the Tampa Bay area, definitely check out Arts N Tails. This would be such a fun girls’ day, date idea, family activity or gift for any pet lover!
