We welcome talented Orlando-based artist Jordan Jones, a.k.a JJ The Artist, as one of eight Central Florida artists competing in the Art & Ales: Round 2 competition. 🍃🎨

Art has remained a significant interest of JJ’s throughout his life. He draws influences from many interests, and his artistic style leans toward realism, with acrylics as his prime medium.

"My work explores the connections that exist beneath the surface of our differences, using color, pattern, and the human figure to reveal our shared experiences. Influenced in part by my Black and Puerto Rican heritage and a blend of cultural perspectives, I create pieces that invite empathy, curiosity, and conversation. Through my work, I hope to remind people that while our identities shape us, our common humanity is what ultimately connects us," JJ shared.

JJ has participated in many art competitions and enjoys the spirit of competition. We cannot wait to see what he creates on November 7th!

Save the date and join us for a day of creativity, community, and craft b**r at Tidal Brewing Company. VIP tickets are now on sale, so grab yours today! ⛓️‍💥 rootscreativeco.com/art-ales

Welcome Michelle Gallo to the Art & Ales: Round 2 competition! 🎨🍻

Michelle is local to Spring Hill, Florida, where she is a co-owner at Ever After Gallery and is a featured artist at the shop. She has been tattooing for 34 years and has won awards showcasing her versatility in styles such as color, black and gray, tribal, portrait, realism, and new school.

In recent years, her love for tattooing has brought her into the world of painting. Michelle shared with us that she feels her style is still evolving. Currently, she enjoys creating portraits with abstract and expressionistic accents in either bold color or stark black-and-white contrast. We truly can't wait to see her interpretation of this year's theme, Wild Florida.

Save the date for November 7th, and join us for a day of creativity, community, and craft b**r at Tidal Brewing Company. VIP tickets are now on sale, so grab yours today!

A little shoutout to our friends at Flash Wellness to celebrate their one year anniversary! 🩺🥼💖

Tomorrow night, Kristen and her team are throwing a party to mark one year of serving Hernando County! We'd love to see you at her office to join in on the celebrations. The fun starts at 5:30 PM at 705 Harvard Street in Brooksville.

When we met Kristen, we knew she was bringing something great to town. Her office prides itself on bringing accessible, high-quality, patient-centered care to their clients, and empowers them to take control of their health on their own terms. Say goodbye to complex healthcare systems and hello to a team that truly puts their patients first. 💕

Aside from bringing a variety of services to Brooksville, Kristen also truly knows what it means to show up for her community. She has been a dedicated supporter of too many businesses to count - including my own. Her commitment to community is admirable and her heart shows in her work and actions. Come on out and support my girl tomorrow and help her team celebrate a year of success!

Can't make it? Visit www.flashcares.com to learn more about their offerings. We had a blast working with Kristen on her site and it really shows her attention to detail and love for her work. Check it out and show her some love 💕
