We couldn’t start posting about our September issue until we highlighted August’s Athlete of the Month, Alex Palladino! Alex and his old doubles college partner, Jim Burda, notched the USTA Level 1 National Men’s indoor doubles title this past April in Boise, Idaho🎾🏆Alex is a Spring Lake native and a former SLHS tennis coach.
To say the guy is well-rounded is an understatement! In his spare time, Alex creates these incredible stained glass pieces and plays gigs locally with his band, Beats Werkin🎶🎸🎤. Also a big ‘Deadhead’ and Led Zeppelin fan. A little-known lead singer of that band even stopped by to play a game of tennis with Alex back in the 90s!
