Austin, Texas-based riot grrrl egg punk band started with a Social Media ad and a dream. Now the band are quickly becoming recognized as a fierce up-and-comer in the Austin music. Opening for Pretty Girls Make Graves, Murder City Devils, of Montreal, Subhumans, and VIAL, as well as playing many local shows with friends, CorMae's focus is community and catharsis, often in silly or sarcastic interactions with the audience. Their live show is wild and raw, cute and fuzzy, hardcore and sometimes a little crazy.

The Everything is SO GREAT! album is the next sonic evolution of CorMae as the band move from the indie pop-punk/twee pop and crank wave styles of the previous albums and lean into more egg punk, pub rock, riot grrrl, and post-punk influenced sounds. Lyrically, the songs are still very witty and sarcastic, but they also really grind into personal struggles with society’s current issues, mental health, expectations on artists, and basically serve as the group's foremost therapeutic outlet.

The band are touring with of Montreal from June 18 to July 4 and plan to expand their live schedule to the West Coast, Europe, and more in the not-too-distant future.
