I've debated posting this time and time again because I don't think the true emotion and passion that goes into it can be felt through a screen. But if there is one thing that social media has taught me is that it might just reach the right person whose goals and values align with yours and even if it's relatable to one person..just one..I'll know that it was worth. In a season of change in the new year ahead I took some time to reflect.

I always thought I knew what my 'Why?' was but a conversation with Luke over the summer quickly made me realize that it might not have been the case. It was a hard question to answer at the time and I think through the course of this year...day after day I started to formulate a true answer of my why.

From a young age livestock has been my passion. Growing up I was all in on quite literally anything cattle and Ag. When I started this business I was unsure of what the future would hold. I knew I loved the creative side of it but it always brought me back the question of, "How can I tie this to agriculture?" I slowly began to realize that my background in the industry that raised me and that I understood would soon be my driving force that turned WCMD into what it is today.

I totally dived in head first and told myself "there is no other plan but plan A, and I'm gunna make it work". In the last few years I have immersed myself in the show pig world and while helping my sister and working alongside Luke everyday. I grew to love it. It's become much more to me than growing a business, it's truly become a part of who I am. What started as something small has shaped my heart, relationships, and the direction of my life.

Along the way I've met some pretty cool folks from all corners of the country. People who have inspired me, supported me and welcomed me like family. Miles traveled to customers, shows, sales and everything in between. Long nights in the barn and sharing laughter with people who truly understand this life have all shaped me into who I am today. It has built a community around me that I didn't know I needed.

All of this has opened doors for me that go far past the picture pen or computer screen. It has pushed me to grow, challenged me in the best ways, and given me a passion I wasn't necessarily looking for. This industry isn't just something I do..it's something I live.

Each banner I create, each design I send out, every picture I take, printing the small decals to the big ones..and the goals I help my customers reach is why I do what I do. The moments of livestock I get to capture and help commemorate is all so much more than just another banner, just another picture or just another sticker to me. It's a labor of love where my passion runs over into each of my clients' cups. From the bottom of my heart to anyone who has been apart of my journey. Thank you. You truly don't know how much I value each and every project. I treat it all as if it was my own and for that I am thankful.
