Most people who feel stuck on content aren't actually bad at it. They just haven't named which of these three is really going on.

Three years later, I'm still using photos from that shoot. Every one of them.

I've shot at studios with better gear, better backdrops, bigger price tags.

They weren't better.

The difference was never the square footage. It was walking in with an actual plan for what I needed the photos to do. Without that, even a gorgeous studio just gives you more expensive random shots.

If your photos feel scattered — great space, no real plan — that's usually not a location problem.

You finally get the words lined up in your head, then a leaf blower starts up two yards over.

It's not that outdoor content can't work. It's that fighting the elements on top of everything else about being on camera just adds one more thing working against you.

Take the weather out of the equation, shoot somewhere it can't touch the shot, and being on camera gets a lot less exhausting.

Your feed doesn't look inconsistent because you're bad at content. It looks inconsistent because you're posting whatever's on your phone instead of what your feed actually needs — a phone pic today, an old headshot filling a gap it was never meant for.

And it's not really a content problem. It's a trust problem — a scattered feed makes people wonder if they've got the right business.

Cohesion doesn't come from posting more. It comes from knowing what type of content you need right now.

Deb is a brilliant therapist and inventor. But there was one thing that almost stopped her before it started.

Every time she sat down to record, she'd freeze. Stop. Start over. Delete it and try again.

It wasn't the therapy. It wasn't the invention. It was just being seen.

A little encouragement changed that. A quiet spot to film in changed that.
