Feel like a glam session? How about a haircut? This weekend - Saturday, Nov 11 - Mes Amies Salon is hosting a Cut-A-Thon to benefit Game On Cancer with services like haircuts and mani/pedis. Details and special pricing in the flyer below:

MARK YOUR CALENDARS-This Sat, Nov. 11th! Myself along with Mes Amies Salon in Grosse Pointe Woods is hosting an ALL DAY Cut-A-Thon - To Benefit the Adam's Journey Game On Cancer Team! Mes Amies will be donating 100% of the proceeds from their services for the day to the Adam's Journey Game On Cancer Team in honor of Adam Cole who begins his 6th round of chemo this Friday! Hair donations will be donated to Wigs 4 Kids that was inspired by Torrin Breneman who is battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma! Lou's Pet Shop will be bringing some of their animals in to visit around noon and we'll have face painting for the kids as well as some cool raffles and giveaways! So come in to get your hair cut, or maybe a quick mini massage, mini mani or pedi or an eye brow or lip wax. Walk-Ins are welcome or feel free to call in advance to make an appointment. We'll be open all day long from 9am until 5pm so please stop by the salon and show your support for a cause that seems to touch all of us! PLEASE join us for some GREAT WINGS, GREAT MUSIC, GREAT SILENT AUCTION & RAFFLE WITH GREAT PEOPLE FOR A GREAT CAUSE!!! This is also a Family Friendly event! 6:30pm-9pm...$15 includes Chicken Wings Samples from each competing restaurant, 3 voting tickets and 1 drink ticket!!! "MAO"

Please take a few minutes to watch this AWESOME short mini documentary produced by The Visual Medium production team out of Toronto and get to know a little bit more about this DETERMINED AND PASSIONATE WOMAN named, "MAO"!

We couldn't be prouder to represent a woman like, Mao...once a young refugee from humble beginnings, who is a self-made and determined woman with a tremendous work ethic, natural ability and talent, dynamic and genuine personality and who is a positive role model and inspiration.
