I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. My first love growing up as a kid was soccer. As I got older I thought maybe I could go to college and play.

• Driving growth through consistent branding and storytelling During my sophomore year of high school, all those dreams came to an abrupt halt when I tore my ACL and meniscus. I then began the journey to figure out what else I wanted to do and what else I could possibly love as much as

my passion for soccer. After being told I was unable to participate in physical education class because of my injuries I decided to try out the photo classes that my high school provided. This was when I found my other passion, photography. I started off with the basic darkroom classes and then from there, I would take every possible photography class that my high school offered. It was a new and exciting hobby in my life and I could not get enough of it. When I started applying for colleges I decided to make photography more than a hobby for me, but to make it a career. I then began the journey of applying to schools that had a photography program. I attended Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and got a double major in Photography and Journalism, specializing in Advertisement, as well as a minor in Art. During my time in college, I found a desire to tell stories through my photographs by using props, the location, and hair and make-up. I love the feeling of looking at a photograph and being able to think of a personal story or a made-up story that pops into one’s head when viewing the photograph. Each person has their own story to tell and each person has their own way to perceive their story through photographs. It just takes one click of a button to tell your story.
