Been exploring some new AI tools lately to help create visuals for promo style videos! 🎥🤖

Here is an example of a short, cinematic video I created for a customer. Bit dramatic, but nothing draws attention like an 'over the top' visual.

It’s amazing how quickly you can bring ideas to life with the right tech. Always learning, always improving—excited to keep pushing creativity further!

🚚💨 Migration complete… but make it ✨visible✨
Had a client who needed their site moved from a private server over to mine and properly pointed to their domain. Pretty standard stuff… until I realized I needed a clear sign everything was fully live.
So naturally, I did what any totally reasonable designer would do…
I wrote custom code to make the client's tow truck drive across the screen. 😎
Why? Because nothing says “your DNS has propagated and your site is officially on my server” like a tiny digital tow truck cruising by like:
“Yep… we picked it up. It lives here now.” 🏡
Honestly, it might be the most unnecessary yet extremely satisfying confirmation method I’ve ever built.
Tech is fun. Sometimes you just gotta make it weird.

Just wrapped up a fun little detail for a site I built for MerriweatherUS 👷‍♂️⚡
For the “Meet the Team” section, we needed a placeholder profile image until the real team photos roll in. Instead of the usual gray silhouette, I designed something that actually fits the company’s vibe.
So now we’ve got:
• A blurry utility worksite background
• A faceless crew member
• Hard hat on, ready to work
• MerriweatherUS logo front and center
Basically… the most mysterious utility worker on the internet right now 😂
It keeps the page looking polished while we wait for the official photos—and honestly, he might be the most punctual employee on the team since he showed up before everyone else.
Little details like this make a big difference in how finished a website feels. Always fun sneaking in small design touches like this.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

After only two years (no big deal 😅), my website is officially back online with a whole new look!

Yes… I am a web designer.
Yes… my own website was down.
And yes… I’ve been busy building everyone else’s websites instead of my own. Classic.

Let me also add that I have 2 children under 2... cut me a break.

But hey — when your clients need pixels pushed and buttons clicked, priorities are priorities.
