Tomorrow kicks off International Dark Sky Week! You are encouraged to turn off all unnecessary lights and marvel at the night sky.

Unfortunately, a lot of people live in heavy light pollution areas… including me, to an extent. It’s still good to turn off your lights when not in use, maybe try to see the night sky, or visit a place far from light pollution and see all of the stars.

I painted these irises way back in 2020… and I had brought them to many an art show, with a few interested customers, but no purchase.

That is, until this past weekend. I received a flurry of interest, kind of out of the blue. It was very surprising to me. And finally, my irises found a home! 💙💜

I think the artwork finds the right person. I hope the buyer loves it in their new home!
