Hi, I’m Quinnee, Lead Designer and Founder of The Studio 85, LLC. For me, design isn’t just a service—it’s a cultural practice.

My work is rooted in Black art as a living continuum—carrying memory, joy, resistance, intellect, and imagination all at once. Every color, form, and composition is intentional, shaped by history while reaching toward what’s next.

At The Studio 85, Black creativity is never treated as a trend or aesthetic moment. It is the foundation. I design to honor legacy, preserve story, and assert presence—creating visual language that invites pause, recognition, and connection.

This time last year I said I would build an app/keyboard that supported my Black + Boujie iOS 18 stickers… 😩

I’m 90% there… and I did it myself…it wasn’t the hardest thing in the world but I still can’t believe I actually did it and in less than 5 hours at that… it still doesn’t work completely BUT I’m just happy I had an idea to build something and did.

It’s Homecoming season, and my heart’s doing the Trojan shuffle 💙🧡 I’ll never forget transferring from Bennett College for Women to (Virginia State University) and deciding—out of pure passion and zero experience—that I was going to join the tennis team. 🎾 Let’s just say… the courts humbled me real quick. 😂

But plot twist: years later, I’m living out all my tennis skirt fantasies through design, creativity, and serving (pun intended) in my own lane. Once a dreamer, always a Trojan. 💪🏾✨
