READY FOR 2024?
We ARE (almost)! And we hope you are excited to learn more about what's in store in 2024. The big news is we are officially a DCI Sound Sport Ensemble, and we will be performing together once again in 2024!
Our new co-directors, Tom, Dana, and Nick, have been meeting nearly daily to put together proposals for the Troopers leadership and starting to lay the foundation for the Troopers Legacy Corps to be an integral part of the Troopers organization for the long haul - things like signing up with DCI, assembling a 2024 team, integrating with Troopers' back-office systems, understanding our financial situation (remember that wonderful, big donation we gave the "A" Corps last year? Well, we're starting from scratch this year.), evaluating costs to perform in various venues against fundraising expectations, investigating our music licenses, and much, much more.
While it will be hard to top the 65th anniversary venue at DCI Finals, we envision a cycle of different performance venues from year to year - variety IS the spice of life, right? The music line up is coming together, and we're standing up more consistent communications with our fans and potential members.
We will be announcing the dates and venues for the Troopers Legacy Corps 2024 experience and opening up member registration in January. Then it will be time to jump in and get practicing!
YOU are what makes the experience memorable - we're excited to create another opportunity for us to perform together and get to know new members, too!
