37 BRAVE SOULS. 25 YEARS. NEVER FORGOTTEN. 💙🇺🇸

On September 11, 2001, 37 members of the Port Authority Police Department made the ultimate sacrifice while responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center.

They ran toward danger. They entered the towers. They helped lead thousands toward safety.

Thirty-seven never came home.

Twenty-five years later, we remember each of them. We honor their courage, their service, their families, and the brothers and sisters of the PAPD who have carried their memory forward for a quarter century.

We also remember those who answered the call at Ground Zero in the days and months that followed, and all who have suffered or been lost to 9/11-related illnesses.

This commemorative piece was created for the 25th Anniversary of September 11th as a tribute to the 37 brave souls who never came home.

The light still rises.

Twenty-five years later, we remember them.

We remember the officers who ran toward unimaginable danger. We remember their courage, their service, and the families who were forever changed that morning.

And we remember the many members of the NYPD who answered the call at Ground Zero in the days and months that followed—and later lost their lives to 9/11-related illnesses.

This commemorative piece was created for the 25th Anniversary of September 11th as a tribute to the men and women of the NYPD and the promise we made a quarter-century ago.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Their legacy will always be remembered.

343. TWENTY-FIVE YEARS. NEVER FORGOTTEN. 🇺🇸🚒

On September 11, 2001, 343 members of the FDNY made the ultimate sacrifice.

They were firefighters, officers, chiefs, paramedics and a fire marshal who answered the call and entered the World Trade Center knowing that others were depending on them.

Twenty-five years later, we remember their courage. We remember their sacrifice. We remember the families, firehouses and an entire city forever changed by their loss.

We also honor the countless members of the FDNY who worked at Ground Zero in the days and months that followed, and those we have since lost to 9/11-related illnesses.

Created for the 25th Anniversary of September 11th, this commemorative coin was designed by Peter Arnell as a lasting tribute to the 343 and to the generations of FDNY members who continue their legacy.

A seriously detailed custom challenge coin made for the Port Authority Police ARFF team, representing NY/NJ, EWR and JFK.

From the intense firefighter face and airport fire trucks to the PAPD and ARFF shields, every part of this coin was built to represent the crews who protect some of the busiest airports in the world.

The reverse features a front-facing ARFF truck over a diamond-plate background, giving the coin a heavy-duty industrial finish.
