In Google Ads, a click is “the search/first date.” Someone is curious enough to visit your site and see if you’re a fit. A conversion is “the commitment/proposal.” It’s the call, form fill, appointment request, or purchase that turns interest into action.
If you’re seeing traffic but not leads, it doesn’t necessarily mean your ads are failing. It usually means the after-the-click experience needs attention: message match, trust signals, offer clarity, and an easy next step.
