After more than a year and a half of planning and preparation, it all came down to one incredible whirlwind week! Three days with very little sleep, but we got it done—and together we achieved our goal of supporting the five charities that benefit from the Rising from the Ashes Revival.

A heartfelt thank you to Fr. Joe Mallia and Kelli Miller for trusting me and Mascela Design to represent the Rising from the Ashes brand through the official event swag. It was an honor to be a small part of something so meaningful.

To my dear friends Kelley, Krissy, Mike, Michelle, Russ, Jodi and Tom who gave up an entire 12-hour day to volunteer at our swag booth—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your generosity, hard work, positive attitudes, and joyful spirits made all the difference. I truly couldn’t have done it without you.

And to Scott—thank you for your unwavering love, encouragement, and support throughout this entire journey. From the countless hours of preparation to the long days at the event, you were by my side every step of the way. I’m so grateful for you. ❤️

What an incredible experience. Thank you to everyone who supported this mission and helped make it such a success.

Today we celebrate 313 Day! A day that honors the heart, resilience, and spirit of Detroit 🤍

Standing tall in the city is the Spirit of Detroit, the iconic 26-foot bronze statue created by Marshall Fredericks and dedicated in 1958. In one hand he holds a golden orb representing the divine… and in the other, a family. A powerful reminder that faith and our relationships with one another are what truly sustain a community.

Detroit has always been a city that knows how to rise. A city that rebuilds. A city that carries strength in its spirit.

And that’s exactly what Rising from the Ashes Revival is all about.
