🏈 STERLING TIGERS VS. WELD CENTRAL BRONCOS! 🐯

Had the opportunity today to head down to the Sterlingl football field and capture the Sterling Tigers taking on the Weld Central Broncos! 📸🎥

I was invited out by the team to photograph and capture the moments from today’s game, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be there, show some support, and document the action on the field.

From the opening plays to the moments between the action, it was a great afternoon of Northeast Colorado middle school football and community spirit.

A huge thank-you to the Sterling Tigers for inviting me out! I had a great time capturing the game, and I’m hoping to be back for the next few! 🏈📸

📸 Photos from today’s game are now up!

Some of you may recognize the page formerly known as JDE Photography. That page is officially beginning a new chapter as The Wild Archive !

While Rural River Films will continue focusing on our community, events, people, businesses, and stories across the region, The Wildlife Archive will give my longtime passion for wildlife and nature photography a home of its own.

The goal is simple: photograph it, learn about it, document it, and help more people appreciate the incredible wildlife and natural spaces around us — from the animals living right here in Northeast Colorado to species and landscapes much farther from home.

And we're already looking toward our first major adventure: a future expedition to Southwest Colorado in search of the elusive ringtail. 🏔️

If you enjoy wildlife, photography, conservation, nature, or simply discovering animals you may not have known were out there, head over and follow The Wildlife Archive.

There's a whole world out there worth paying attention to. 🦅🦊🦎

🌱📸 SUGAR BEET DAYS — DAY TWO!
Back in Downtown Sterling today for the second day of the Sugar Beet Days Arts & Craft Festival!

I spent the day photographing the rest of the vendors, more of the festivities, and all but the final performer. There was plenty more to capture, and I'm excited to share these moments with everyone! 🎶📷

If you were out there today, keep an eye out — you might spot yourself in these photos! 👀

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out, performed, set up a booth, supported local businesses, and helped make this weekend such a great celebration of our community!
