I made a drone video of Mill Pond in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. It’s about 6 minutes long and shows the devastating affect the beaver dams are having on the pond. I also got downstream from the bridge and then went under the bridge upstream towards Crane Lake. There was very little water left because of the dams. Feel free to share the video if you like.

Aerial footage of the Butternut Wildfire in Great Barrington Massachusetts at about 4pm, November 20, 2024. The video is actually 3 videos in one. In the first scene you’ll see the overall expanse of the fire with the wide angle camera. In the second scene you’ll see the intense thick billowing smoke up close from the Zoom lens. Note the National Guard helicopter dropping its bucket of water and notice that the helicopter is no longer visible once it goes behind the smoke. The third scene is from the Thermal camera. All of the red areas are the flames and hot spots that are not visible through the smoke with the other lenses. Also note that the helicopter is visible all the way through the video when viewed with the Thermal camera. Also note that this video is taken at a distance of 3 miles from the fire scene. Drones have become important valuable tools when it comes to saving and protecting lives and property.
