"For the past 10 years this company from Bergenfield, New Jersey has been entertaining audiences all over the country. Formerly known as Rhythmology, this group of motivated and inspiring dancers combines the various styles of urban dance with the aesthetic of performance art. Since 2003, their sole purpose was to have the audience enjoy music through a visual medium and to appreciate dance as an artform. Due to copyrights and trademark laws, this company is no longer using the Rhythmology brand. When asked what their new name was the directors said one thing:

“Our name might've been taken away, but we never lost our Rhythm.”

As the name suggests, we strive to create a sense of friendship and family among our members and with other organizations within and outside The College of New Jersey. Barkada focuses largely on Filipino culture and heritage through cultural, social, and community activities; in doing so, we invite everyone to participate and learn more about Filipino culture. So if you're Filipino, have Filipino friends, enjoy Filipino food or other aspects of culture, or just want to try out something new - join the group and come out to our next events!

The Korean Student Association (KSA) at Stony Brook University was founded in 1989. As the Korean Student Association, we strive to empower and educate the campus community with traditional and modern Korean culture. Our annual goal is to organize and collaborate campus events that showcase the various aspects of our culture within a social and networking atmosphere. Through our annual events such as Hyungjae (BAE) Program, KSA Gala, and Korean Night, as well as many others, we strive to involve and teach all people interested in Korean culture!"
